Save while you can: the VAT incentive ends in 2027
There’s currently a UK government VAT relief on qualifying energy-saving installations in residential properties, with the VAT rate reduced to 0% until 31 March 2027. From 1 April 2027, it’s scheduled to revert to the reduced 5% rate.
Because eligibility depends on the type of system and how it’s supplied/installed, we’ll advise you during quotation on whether your proposed domestic air conditioning setup qualifies under the rules. (Where it does, it’s a straightforward saving you can take advantage of before the relief ends.)
